Leone Fence is a long term user of Sage 300, formerly Sage ERP Accpac and wanted to keep using Sage 300 while adding a manufacturing system to addresstheir inventory and operational issues. In the fence manufacturing business in Ontario you have 8 months in which to complete 12 months of work due to constraints imposed by the weather. The challenge for Leone was in meeting the needs of their distribution clients who relied on Leone Fence for their fencing supplies while also managing the supply needs for their custom fence and installation divisions, and doing it with limited space. They needed a system to manage the flow of materials into inventory as well as the management ofproduction jobs and subcontractwork.
